Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the CFO, Controller, Cashier, Accounting Analyst, and Internal Auditor in performance of routine audits and other daily tasks. Perform special projects for the accounting/audit department and other departments by request.
(1)As directed by the Internal Auditor (or CFO) conduct periodic audits of bank departments, reviewing accounting systems and records to verify adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and established bank policies and procedures. Prepare formal reports, documenting audit procedures and examinations performed, as well as audit results. Discuss with the Internal Auditor (or CFO) any immaterial irregularities or deficiencies discovered during the audit and recommend resolutions to these situations.
(2)Work with external auditors and regulatory agencies as requested by the Internal Auditor/CFO.
(3)Perform various accounting functions including, but not limited to
a. Processing of Accounts Payable.
b. Reconciliation of general ledger and internal dda accounts.
(4) Work on special projects as assigned by supervisor, accounting department, Audit Committee, EMT, or BOD.
(5)Identify and provide recommendations on ways to improve workflow and develop efficiencies within the areas audited. Present these recommendations to the Internal Auditor or CFO.
(6) Represent the bank in a positive light in all professional duties.
(7) Participate in other bank projects and activities as directed by management.
Necessary Skills and Attributes
2nd or 3rd year accounting student at an accredited 4 year university.
Full Time/Part Time: Student
Salary Range: 10-11
Business Unit: BankEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
