Supporting the Sales Manager in attaining orders;
Coordinating with functional areas to resolve inquires and issues;
Responding to and resolving customer complaints;
Keeping informed on new products and other information of interest to customers;
Making outbound calls to potential and existing customers;
Handling inbound sales calls;
Liaison between customer and field sales, engineering and manufacturing;
Building and maintaining customer relationships;
Traveling to and attending trade shows;
Reviewing customer documents, investigating new designs, and evaluating engineering proposals.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Mechanical Engineering, Sales, Marketing or similar disciplines preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3
years of experience in Sales Engineering;
Needs to have a firm, aggressive, hands-on approach;
Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and apply technical requirements;
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Customer Satisfaction skills;
Ability to read simple blueprints, use problem solving methods, and perform advanced accounting.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
