Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at our manufacturing facility.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facility during the 2nd shift.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines.
Conduct preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and resolve issues to minimize production delays.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used, repairs completed, and maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify and address maintenance needs and ensure smooth workflow.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Participate in training programs and stay updated on the latest maintenance techniques and equipment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Training programs such as an apprenticeship, college, or continuing education.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Ability to use hand and power tools, as well as testing and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work the 2nd shift.
Physical exam and drug screen is required.
