Job Description Embedded Software Engineer Specific Position Requirements Max bill rate is $70/hour.
1st shift position, 7 am to 3:
30 pm.
Per manager, candidates MUST have experience with MATLAB, Simulink, C and controls systems related to propulsion systems.
The manager is open to recent grad candidates.
Business casual dress code, will need metatarsal shoes for the first day.
Position will work onsite on the first day.
Interviews will be conducted via MS Teams.
As an Embedded Software Controls Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and document embedded software for electromechanical/electrohydraulic subsystems for agricultural equipment projects.
In addition, you will:
Create and develop software per the Embedded Software Development Process.
Participate in control system design and analysis.
Participate functional/subsystem design/test requirement reviews and document results.
Verify that subsystem meets requirements, through a combination of virtual and hardware based testing including; desktop, bench, vehicle simulator testing.
Analyze current production/experimental issues, develop an understanding of the root cause and create appropriate action plans to resolve these issues.
Provide technical support during system field-testing activities on an as needed basis.
Provide necessary design documentation to support development of service publications.
What It Takes:
We need an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment.
Ideally, you will have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Ag Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field.
We also require:
Experience working in mechatronics; this includes a solid understanding of electrical and electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
Subsystem design, software development, and electronic circuit design and analysis experience.
Experience with C/C+
programming language and MATLAB/Simulink.
Additionally, experience with software development tools for embedded microcontrollers in mobile applications.
Control system experience preferably related to propulsion systems.
A strong candidate will also have:
Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.
Experience with control systems design and analysis.
Some product engineering experience.
Major Purpose:
Plans, coordinates, performs product design, testing and/or analysis work for a complete project of moderate Product or for a significant portion or a sub-system of a major and diverse project.
Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews.
May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to support personnel.
Decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors.
Major Duties:
Applies knowledge of company products, policies and practices to provide economies through standardization of parts and products.
Produces and/or evaluates possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications.
This may include possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.
Compiles and furnishes necessary information (engineering decisions and reports of pertinent design analyses data) to document the design solution required for building of prototypes and adoption of the design with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.
Develops and/or executes test or analysis plan for product verification and validation.
Provides technical support to marketing, manufacturing, quality and supply management organizations.
? Executes high level applications to more complex problems.
Analyzes assignments and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for complex problems or projects of moderate Product.
Skills, Abilities, Knowledge:
Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
? Skill in using company information systems and processes.
Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge.
Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to the company product Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment and Company division/unit.
Knowledge/familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors.
? Knowledge of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Technology Development process (ETDP) and/or Enterprise Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP).
Education:
Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
