com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Moline, IL.
As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing manufacturing engineering work for a project or process.
Operate in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process.
At this level, projects are of limited scope and responsibility; work plans and decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors and/or managers.
May assign coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel and contractors.
This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties:
Provide support and basic trouble shooting for current operations.
Investigate, gather, and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks.
Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of limited scope.
Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope.
Work with electronic tools to perform engineering functions.
Develop and implement plans of limited scope to support lean manufacturing through the Production System.
Design operations layouts to improve material flow and material presentation.
Participate in team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity, and efficiency.
Implement new manufacturing processes and technology.
Modify existing performance pay plans; assist in development of baseline data for new wage performance pay plans.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Ag Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, related technical degree, or equivalent working experience.
Demonstrated effective people skills to interact with all levels in the organization and supplier personnel.
Demonstrated high ability with Excel, Outlook, Word Must be able to perform work that requires lifting, bending, and twisting.
