Follows safe and sanitary laundry procedures to ensure all clothing / linens are cared for in an appropriate and efficient manner Safely and appropriately prepares, uses, stores, labels, and disposes of commercial laundry products / chemicals and supplies Utilizes and maintains all commercial laundry equipment properly and safely, following the operating manual instructions per manufacturer guidelines Interacts with team members, residents / tenants in a positive manner, accommodating daily schedules as possible, along with ensuring that clothing and other personal items are delivered and accounted for in a timely manner Performs other work-related duties as assigned by the Administrator / Laundry Supervisor or Housekeeping / Laundry Supervisor Qualifications / Requirements High school diploma or equivalent, with experience working in a healthcare setting preferred Must have knowledge and understanding of healthcare standards related to cleanliness, sanitation, disinfecting, and infection control Must be self-motivated, possessing organization and time-management skills in order to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Must have good oral and written communication skills specific to the English language Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable Additional Information Shift:
