The Manager ensures the timely and accurate completion of all projects and provides leadership and direction to staff to ensure a positive guest experience.
Essential Functions:
Supervises all aspects of the hotel operation, including staffing, scheduling, reservations, reservations processing, reservations billing, guest service, safety, security, linen service, food and beverage service.
Coordinates and oversees all aspects of marketing and publicity.
Oversees all marketing and publicity efforts to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards as they relate to the operation of the business.
Plans promotional activities to promote the business operation.
Plans and directs training of new employees.
Ensures training is completed by new employees.
Ensures completion by previous employees who leave for another job without completing training.
Reviews guest satisfaction surveys to determine areas for improvement and works with management to resolve problems or issues in a timely manner.
Reviews guest service survey results to determine areas for improvement and works with management to resolve problems or issues in a timely manner.
Responsible for hiring, orientation, training and performance evaluation of staff.
Responsible for monitoring staff performance against established goals and objectives.
Responsible for monitoring staff attendance and productivity against established goals and objectives.
Reviews all open rooms to determine if they are meeting guest expectations; reviews equipment reviews budget estimates; reviews financial estimates; reviews payroll estimates; schedules opening and closing shifts; supervises opening shifts; schedules closing shifts; reviews tips; reviews payroll receipt receipt recognition; reviews time cards; audits time checks were completed as required; audits cash deposits completed as required).
Position Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
