We are a full-service civil law firm focusing on personal injury and also providing family law services, estate planning, and business litigation representation.
We are seeking someone with excellent phone skills to speak with clients calling with legal problems, gather information, schedule appointments and work with attorneys to move clients through the intake process.
In addition to intaking clients, the candidate should be very computer literate and able to work with the Firm's managing partner to manage their daily schedule and task lists.
This position provides the opportunity to be immersed in a law firm setting with no prior legal experience required.
Many employees have moved up in the office into legal assistant roles with more responsibilities, if desired.
Applicants should be comfortable working with multiple attorneys and staff, be willing and able to work with Clio case management software, Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF software.
Strictly in-office work.
1 week vacation after 90 day probation period; personal and sick time available upon start.
Firm pays cost of work-related travel, association membership, CLE, etc.
Firm provides health insurance (minimal cost to employee) and optional vision, dental, and disability insurance and SIMPLE IRA contribution of 2% annual compensation.
