$22-35/hour DOE (Maintenance Level 1-4 openings DOE)nJob Summary of the Maintenance Technician:
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
n Job Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:
nnInstall and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
nProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
nPerform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
nPerform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
nPerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
nRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
nDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
nPerform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
nUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
nDetect faulty operations, defective material and report those.
nnEducation & Experience of the Maintenance Technician:
nnHigh school Diploma or GED required.
Associates degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Maintenance a plus.
n2
years of manufacturing experience with emphasis in hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial skill sets with some experience in PLC and HVAC.
nAny CNC programming, PLC programming experience a plus.
nnnVacuum furnace experience a plus.
