JOB SUMMARY: This individual develops, coordinates, modifies, and teaches industrial maintenance training classes and programs for a diverse audience including employees at business apprentices and the general public. Topics will include industrial electricity, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), NEC code, OSHA, electrical power distribution, basic mechanical systems, mechanical power, hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power, single and three-phase motor controls, industrial electronic and electrical systems, motor and motor control systems, basic DC and AC electronics, digital circuits and systems, microprocessors, computer programming, data communication, and industrial instrumentation. Promotes the growth in industrial training through Area 7. Collaborates with others to design, implement, and evaluate technical training classes and programs and makes recommendations for new training to meet industry needs. Responsible for coordinating other instructors' schedules and ensuring they are following college policies and safety guidelines. Evaluates and manages instructors' performance according to department standards. Assists Manager with hiring of instructors and coordinators of training events. Ensures proper inventory of training supply and maintenance of the equipment. Assists the Manager with ordering and maintaining specialized equipment for training. Develops and maintains professional relationships with current and prospective clients. Develops new training courses and revises existing training courses. Performs additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in industrial, mechanical field with a minimum of five years of directly related work experience. Demonstrated ability to organize and present various concepts to a wide range of trainees with varying backgrounds and abilities and adjust teaching techniques accordingly. Working knowledge of adult training principles and practices. Demonstrated ability to problem solve. Organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to deliver engaging, interactive classroom training to a diverse audience. Ability to adapt curriculum to specific industry applications. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Extensive computer knowledge in both application programs and the usage of computers in a technical training environment. Ability to travel to and from work sites and meetings, days and evenings. Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
