Job Information
Seeking an experienced Designer to assist with modifying Aftertreatment system component designs. This is a 1st shift position with a business casual dress code. Metatarsals are required for the first day.
Summary:
Plans, coordinates and performs designs for complex components and assemblies using the preferred 3-Dimensional (3D) Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool and protocols. Uses technical judgment. May work with junior personnel to complete tasks.
Responsibilities:
Integrate aftertreatment components with vehicle partners to meet system functional requirements.
Utilize design modeling tools to create concept/production intent designs.
Evolve prototype models and drawings by interacting with Aftertreatment design engineers and suppliers.
Procure prototype components, tracking of the orders Work with Aftertreatment design engineers, partners and suppliers to incorporate design needs into a unified product approach which balances manufacturing needs with customer requirements.
Release components into the production PDMLink system and SAP Support PV&V efforts Support functional mules, field testing and trouble-shooting of components.
Requirements:
4 year Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience.
ProE and Creo experience
