Managing engineering projects that solve plant process problems, generate cost savings, and introduce new products;
Identifying and implementing projects that target improvement to plant metrics such as safety, quality, on-time, efficiency, etc.;
Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that meet annual cost savings goals;
Conducting routine audits to ensure conformance to best practices and standard operating procedures;
Providing technical training to manufacturing leadership and associates.
Education: 4-year degree required; engineering or related disciplines preferred.
8-10 years of hands-on experience in a high volume manufacturing facility;
Strong Project Management and formal problem solving skills;
Strong Capital Project implementation and process improvement through application of Lean Manufacturing philosophy;
Excellent communication and teamwork facilitation skills;
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
